Today on Valentine’s Day (US time ), I believe All You Need Is #Souffle!
Hands up, who previously “believed” ALL you need is love?”
That’s A LOT of hands I see in Computer Land!
My name is Joanne aka Joanne aka mickeydownunder aka FANG, and I have a BIG TIME confession today!
I JUST passed 50 and had never previously made a soufflé!
I decided today was the day!
If you will allow me to digress “a tad”; you KNOW by now HOW I am become around fun and food! (wine too )
When I was little, my dad used to work in a large company on Wall Street in New York City.
Every year until I was 16, he used to get the mail boy to stamp the Valentine’s Day card he bought “HAND DELIVER.”
Every year until I was 16, when my dad came home from work, I S-Q-U-E-A-L-E-D
(I have been S-Q-U-E-A-L-I-N-G for a LONG time now ) he told me my secret admirer had remembered to send me a St. Valentine’s Day card AND a box of my favorite chockies! (Aussie lingo for chocolates)
Mmmmmmmmmmmm, it never dawned on me HOW my secret admirer KNEW what my favorite chockies were; it was a tradition my dad and I shared and one that is truly missed every Valentine’s Day!
I am more than happy to have the wonderful childhood memories that I now can share with you!
As you know by now, I LOVE including LOVE in each and every one of my recipes like while blushing making Matt Preston‘s mother-in-law’s French letters aka Lemon Love Notes recipe!
Can you FEEL the LOVE in Lost and Found Sinner and Saint Birthday Cake?
Today, I decided All You Need Is #Soufflé!
“What soufflé recipe did you use today?”, I “hear” you say?
Good question and thank you for keeping me on my St. Valentine’s Day toes
today!
As you may remember, I recently experienced a “wonderfully exciting” Simply #French Homefresh Experience with international Chef Jean-Claude du Toulouse and Steven aka The dishwasher and owner!
I LOVED Chef Jean-Claude’s and Steven’s PASSION for food, fun and I LOVE their Homefresh Experience philosophy!
Not only did I LOVE the Homefresh Experience on the night, but I was enthralled with Chef Jean-Claude’s Legendary Cuisine!
Without giving TOO much away, the recipes in Legendary Cuisine are by Chef
Jean-Claude’s “imaginary meeting with a lady” ; all recipes are a tribute to “legendary”, “strong and inspiring” women in Chef Jean-Claude’s life.
Legendary Cuisine is dedicated to his grandmother.
Because All You Need Is #Soufflé today, I decided to re-create Chef Jean-Claude’s Magical Chocolate #Soufflé.
I am a BIG fan of dark chocolate!
OOPS, I have already given one of the ingredients away!
Make no yolk about it, I LOVED “whisking” and “beating stiff” the day away!
I truly was “inspired” not only from Chef Jean-Claude and Steven aka The dishwasher and owner lol, but of Lady Freedom; Mary Lee.
You will just have to buy Legendary Cuisine for yourself reading the wonderful stories so you too can make Chef Jean-Claude’s easy to follow, simple and wonderfully healthy recipes!
Hands up, who now believes All You Need Is #Soufflé?
For now, whether you believe in celebrating St. Valentine’s Day or not, let’s pretend we all have secret admirers who deliver cards and chockies and knew my secret of being happy and excited today was in the simple thought that started with All You Need Is #Soufflé!
FANG “devoured” the soufflé with love as it really was “a delectably delicious dessert.”
I am glad you were not here to see FANG aka me licking my lips with chocolate all over my mouth!
FANG said the Magical Chocolate Soufflé was very scrummy, yummy and tasty!
How old is FANG with that description?
What can I say?
Jean-Claude’s Magical Chocolate Soufflé “magically” made my day!
One always remembers their firsts of everything (at least I do! ) and I am now glad in successfully completing making my first soufflé, but in sharing the love experiences and photos today!
Note to self: photograph quicker!
As included in Chef Jean-Claude’s Magical Chocolate Soufflé recipe, “The saying goes, we should always wait for the soufflé, but the soufflé doesn’t wait for us!”
Have YOU ever made a soufflé?
Do you like a savory or sweet soufflé?
